A: An equine soft tissue therapist diagnoses, treats, and prevents musculoskeletal and neurological issues in horses to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance performance. Common conditions include back pain, muscle strains, tendon injuries, arthritis, and neurological issues like nerve compression or Wobbler Syndrome. Therapists also help with poor gait, performance loss, and post-surgical recovery. They use techniques like massage, stretching, and strength conditioning to prevent injuries and correct posture imbalances.

A: Yes, absolutely, I use a combination of manual therapy (massage, stretching, mobilisation), electrotherapy (ultrasound, laser therapy, TENS), hydrotherapy, and exercise prescription to treat these conditions.

Q: What sets you aside from other Equine Soft tissue therapists?

A: I grew up on a farm in Ireland, and have worked with horses for 40 years. I achieved representative level at show jumping, and have formalized my passion through nationally recognised qualifications in Australia.
